Gasoline Media opens for business with Ampco, Renkus Heinz, Lighthouse Technologies and XTA as its first clients.


2002


2002

DiGiCo forms and calls the Gasoline Media team to ask for help with the launch of the fledgling company. Gasoline‘s first project is the launch of the D5 Live, the first digital mixing console developed for the live music industry.


2003


2003

As the original founders of the company part ways Gasoline Media moves forward with DiGiCo, Lighthouse Technologies and XTA as its key clients.


2004


2004

Hearing loop specialists Ampetronic, lighting rental company Mushroom Lighting and staging company Star Events join Gasoline Media’s roster of clients.


2005


2005

The Gasoline Media team is honoured to be asked to take on the entire production PR for the Live8 benefit concert in London’s Hyde Park. Wow, what a show!


2006


2006

Turbosound’s new marketing director, Rik Kirby, calls on Gasoline to handle its PR and gobo manufacturer Rosco also becomes a client.


2007


2007

Specialist finance company, Medialease, asks for PR support, and work on another exciting large-scale project, the production PR for the Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert headlined by Led Zeppelin, begins. DiGiCo creates a spectacular reveal for the SD7 at PLASA, the first of its new SD range and still its flagship console.

AP Security becomes Gasoline Media client and we get busy on the festival scene.


2009


2009

Sennheiser takes Gasoline into the world of high-end microphones and headphones as its retained PR agency in the UK.


2010


2010

Gasoline Media takes on the European PR for US loudspeaker manufacturer Meyer Sound.


2012


2012

Coda Audio, Capital Sound and Martin Professional join the fold as new accounts.


2013


2013

Sennheiser sponsors the David Bowie Is exhibition at the V&A and creates an immersive audio experience. The exhibition is also used to help introduce Sennheiser AMBEO 3D immersive concept to the market. The Gasoline Media team works closely with Sennheiser and the V&A to help engage the attention of the global press.


2015


2015

A tough decision has to be made when French loudspeaker manufacturer L-Acoustics approaches Gasoline and, despite the great relationship with the Coda team and a belief in its loudspeakers, L-Acoustics PR is an offer we just can’t turn down. PLASA asks for our help in expanding its pro audio exhibitor list and we support industry charity Backup with pro bono PR.


2017


2017

In November 2017, L-Acoustics launches its ground-breaking L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound. Sennheiser once again takes immersive audio to the V&A for Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains. This is an exciting time in the world of pro audio!


2018


2018

Gasoline Media wins a competitive pitch for LED processor manufacturer Brompton Technology’s worldwide PR.


2019


2019

DiGiCo buys immersive in-ear mixing manufacturer KLANG, and KLANG becomes a client. We also start working with sales and rental company SFL and immersive start-up Sonosphere. Victoria Chernih joins our team as Account Director.

2020

Covid arrives with a bang. SFL puts its PR on hold, but our other clients hold firm on their commitment to PR. Brompton swiftly picks up the pace on software features aimed squarely at Virtual Production and we start producing PR targeted at the cinematography market. Brompton’s successful PR leads to LED rental company iMAG becoming a client. In a collaborative arrangement with US PR company, Hummingbird Media, Gasoline takes on Xytech Systems for EMEA and APAC PR support.
As Covid decimates the live sector, Gasoline lends its support to the WeMakeEvents initiative. Sonosphere becomes part of the DCMS-backed 5G Festival project and our involvement with immersive audio deepens further.

Our work with Sennheiser expands to include strategic PR support for the pro audio in-house team at Sennheiser’s HQ in Germany. 5 Star Cases develops a new range of industry-leading packing crates and Gasoline is recommended to help launch it. This is an exciting challenge that will take us into new industries.

2022

With US-based CES Show going ahead, albeit at a reduced capacity, and ISE 2022 postponed until May, we are excited to see what this year brings to our business and how we can continue maximising our clients’ efforts.

In May, we were delighted to have Teresa Latter join the Gasoline team. Her appointment almost immediately brought Leyard Europe, one of the biggest screen manufactures in the world, into the Gasoline fold, and were also asked to let the industry know about Creative Technology’s new Systems Integration division ahead of ISE 2023.

2023

Innovative audio solutions company, DirectOut, and renowned architectural acoustic consultant and media systems engineering company, WSDG, become clients. Zoe James returns to Gasoline, stepping into the role of digital marketing manager.


2024


2024

The year starts with the addition of consultancy firm, Cadaema, to the Gasoline roster of clients, taking us into new territory and the world of Facilities Management. The summer saw distribution company, Alto Technologies, request marketing support, and fog and haze machine specialist, Look Solutions USA, approach us to handle its North America marketing and PR. Audio expert, Zoe Milton, joins the team as full-time content creator.
