July, 2024 Bremen-based Folk band Versengold have recently enjoyed their biggest tour ever. With a string of sold-out performances ahead of them, they knew their current sound set up would need upgrading. A more transparent monitor mix solution was required to allow them to re-engage with their larger audiences, plus a mix that would offer space to hear the bigger crowds, but not allow them to over-power the acoustic instruments which are key to their six-piece ensemble. KLANG was their solution and the man behind implementing it successfully was Tjado de Vries. Choosing KLANG:konductor meant the band could enjoy effectively spaced monitor mixes while still maintaining the clarity they need to communicate with each other as they perform.
July, 2024 Being the first to use a brand-new mixing console is an exciting prospect, but when your venue is on the roof of a busy international airport that has never needed a goods lift, logistics suddenly become a very high priority, as Tristan Mazire found out during preparations for a secret event on the roof of the iconic Terminal One Building, Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport on July 17th.

July, 2024 229 is a hidden gem on the edge of London’s Regents Park. When investing in a programme of upgrades for the building, Technical Manager Alessandro Bonifacio, was excited by the DiGiCo Quantum 225’s list of future-proofing features. 229 is a multi-purpose venue with two spaces: Venue One has a capacity of 700 and Venue Two can hold around 200 people. Both are busy every night, often also hosting events during the day. There is residential housing above and the whole complex is managed under the umbrella of the charity International Student House, which provides a home and community for young people studying internationally. June, 2024 Keane20, Hope and Fears, was the hotly anticipated tour from Keane, celebrating 20 years since their debut album was released in 2004. The tour continues with festival dates around the world over the summer. The show is co-produced by Mango TV, the online video platform of Hunan TV station, and TVB, and is divided into three seasons: Sheng Sheng Bu Xi: Hong Kong Music Collection; Sheng Sheng Bu Xi: Taiwan Music Collection; and Sheng Sheng Bu Xi: Carnival. “Go Fighting! Treasure Walk” is a popular outdoor reality show created by Shanghai Media Group (SMG). Now in its fourth season, “Go Fighting! Treasure Walk – Harmonious Countryside” has gained both recognition and popularity among audiences by showcasing the stunning landscapes and local customs of China’s countryside. However, shooting the complex outdoor scenes created many challenges for the audio system design – until the programme’s team selected a 40-channel Sennheiser EW-DP system. This all-digital, UHF camera microphone system ensured clear and stable sound, setting a new benchmark for audio system design in outdoor reality shows.
