Blending genres and having fun with their videos, they are taking the world by storm on their latest tour, TEKKNO. Their most recent collaboration with Japanese kawaii metal band, BABYMETAL, has enjoyed huge success and they have built on this throughout the year, with sold-out dates across the globe. The band finished up 2024 with three performances as part of the Australian Good Things Festival in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. 2025 promises even more performances, beginning on February 1st with their own music festival, Escalation Fest, in Oberhausen, Germany.
Mark Clements has been touring with Level 42 for over 23 years, for the last 16, he has been using DiGiCo consoles provided by Neal Allen, CEO of Merlin PA Hire. For the band’s 2024 touring dates Allen joined the tour mixing monitors, with Clements at the front of house position. The year began with the pair using a Quantum 225 at front of house and an SD10-24 for monitors. Towards the end of the year, they swapped to a Quantum 338 at front of house, and a Quantum 326 at monitors for the London O2 indigo shows. 2025 will see the Quantum 338 changing to a Quantum 225 for the overseas shows to fit the slimmed down logistics package.

Presented by Semmel Concerts and accompanied by breathtaking lighting, sound and stage technology from Satis & Fy, this smash-hit show delighted more than 22,000 fans at 15 sold-out concerts from 23 January to 2 March. Hans Zimmer himself spoke to the audience in the form of a larger-than-life, three-dimensional projected image. Behind the scenes, monitor engineer Thorben Ströhlein and RF manager Werner Schmidl also welcomed a special technical guest: Sennheiser’s Spectera, which they used to provide some of the musicians with in-ear and line/mic signals as part of the Spectera Pioneer Program.

The orchestra was sited in the round, which provided the audience with a unique perspective on the orchestra. In his latest short film “The Missing”, Rayner showcases how smartphones can revolutionise storytelling
Cassius Rayner is a filmmaker and mobile cinematographer who has specialised in mobile filmmaking since 2014. Combining agility with professional-grade audio, he deploys various smartphones during the process, including Apple and Sony products, but the microphone he always finds himself using is the compact and portable Sennheiser MKE 400. One of his most recent short films, The Missing, tackles the issue of children who are groomed into gangs and go missing from their families. Shot entirely with the MKE 400 and a Sony Xperia Pro-I, it has already won three international film awards and there are hopes of making it into a full-length feature.
